I think Mormon theology is pretty cool. I love their ritual, baptism for the dead, celestial marriage, cool stuff. I like their 'ternal progression'notion too. Of course, I could never join because i wont be directed. Im not being told that I HAVE to pay 10 percent of my wages, nor am I being told I HAVE to attend this / that society meeting or spend all day Sunday in church hall. If it wasnt so organized and structured Id be interested.

one difference i note is that the lds church doesn't tell its members to avoid "apostate" sites, as does the w.t.
one church spokesperson stated: "beyond urging members to use wisdom and judgment in their use of the internet or any other medium of communication, we have made no comment on specific web sites.".

Yeah Malk. Tell you something else, Ive wondered about this propensity to cause pain that Ive noticed on this board. Ive seen some rotten nasty stuff and actually Ive done some deeply rotten nasty stuff to persons percieved as 'enemy status'. I wonder if there isnt a tendancy among X dubs to inflict pain onto others, and that this pain infliction is a purgative, a means of expelling their own psychic pain. Like children who are enraged, "they ( the borg) hurt me now Im gonna hurt you". In other words its all part of the Individual healing process, lashing out, fighting, being unspeakably cruel. etc. The degree of cruelty expressed is merely a reflection of the depth of hurt and pain caused by the borg experience.

That guy was a shooting star if Ive ever seen one and he got shot down by Penton, RayF, etc.Other major players. Moving down a rung from the Apostate stratosphere,Consider such posters as the great maniac poster Farkmeister and his memesis Prisca.Disunity abounds as individual tastes are experimented with and expressed.And there are some big egos out there too. No doubt about that.
I read a post the other day by one of the ladies on this board calling for unity at any cost, unity, so that we can "fight the WT".
I feel that the rigid and enforced unity we were all subjected to in the dubs has somehow reacted within the psyches of ex dubs,generating non compliant tendancies. Not only that, but a veritable horror of compliance. I think ex dubs have a personal issue with authority and unity of thought. I think the fratching and falling out in the Apostate dub community will continue as individual issues are worked thru. I think everyone here has had enough unity of opinion to last a lifetime.It was pumped into them by the church, theyve had enough, are mad as hell and are not going to take any more. I think the chances of any kind of consistent unity in the Apostate community are very remote.

Yes, we all look forward to our visit from the dubs dont we. I had one coming here a few months ago but i flicked him off, you should have seen him go into a spin when I told him I was looking up JW stuff on the internet!! The guy had a fit and begged me to call him if I wanted ANY source material, day or night, he would bring it. Eventually I let him go though, we were both wasting our time. I did get some time bombs planted though. Maybe they will go off in a year, five, twenty.

Well I think of young Anke' ,and how shes 47 like me,SHe was a golden haired girl I liked when I was growing up, and shes been a dub her whole life and pioneered and spent an entire quarter of her life at meetings or on doors and I think, well its a waste. What a waste of life. Never knowing, and never considering the other side of the coin, just BLAM!...the barriers go up at any alternate thought. This chick was , I mean BLINKERED. Seething with righteous hate on cue. Driving crippled old sisters back and forth doing her duty. What a terrible existance to have lived in such a SMALL mental world. Just too bad...really..At least Country girl knows what a fag tastes like. She can condemn it based on experience.
